Day 2 - Saturday, June 24The intention was to get up and leave real early. Hah! Took most of the previous night and well into the morning to pack. Besides, it was Darrel's Grade 8 grad the night before :) We finally left Regina about 3:00 in the afternoon.
We traveled in the middle of a thunderstorm all the way to Winnipeg (about a 5 hour trip). There was no way we were going to be camping this night! Since we needed to pick up our remaining dive gear in the morning, there was no point in traveling any further that day and we decided to stay in Winnipeg. Last time I was there, I got a chance to see U-571 in the IMAX sized theatre and thought that the kids would love to see it as well.
Well, U-571 wasn't on. But Mission Impossible II was. We loved it! Do I dare say even more than Bond?? :)
