Just getting started.....
I'm a study in contrasts and don't really fit well into
any stereotypes. For most of the adjectives I come up with to describe myself, I
find the opposite is also true. And I often like those adjectives to be
passionate and intense. One obsession is matched by an equal but opposite
obsession for well balance! My taste for style is typically understated, refined
and elegant, yet I occasionally find the ridiculous and outlandish very
interesting and entertaining.
I have an insatiable appetite for learning and love deep conversations about
anything and everything. I have definite goals and am typically very focused but
find nothing wrong with some adventure and spontaneity along the way. I consider
that fresh and exciting! My career as a computer consultant can be quite intense
and demanding and requires me to be an organized, structured and serious adult
professional yet between you and me, I'm just a big kid at heart. :)
I smile a lot and have a dry, often twisted sense of humor. I'm quirky and
exhibit a few eccentricities :) I am easy going and accommodating when treated
the same way (and to be honest, even when I'm not). Compassionate, kind, loyal
and encouraging are also words you could use to describe me. I am not loud,
boastful, or arrogant but I am confident and determined. And I'm a hopeless
romantic.
Qualities I am attracted to: love of oneself (as in contentment and self-esteem, not conceit or vanity), intelligence, quirkiness, honesty, being active and energetic, kindness, mannerly, politeness, fashionable (but not necessarily trendy, I like uniqueness), tolerance, being outgoing and humourous.
Things that I'm simply not compatible with: excessive makeup, smoking, profanity, sloppiness, being out of shape, anorexia, bitterness or anger.
