We spent both days of skiing at Lake Louise, Alberta. The weather was fabulous for the most part but there were periods of intense fog and snow. It was quite warm and a little slush in places.
About
half way up, start of the first day. This mountain is huge!
Darrel's
favorite runs are the narrow ones through the trees...
Brittany
wisely decides to stop and take look before leaping.
Off to the side of a very fast run, we detoured and instantly wiped out in this slushy snow. Darrel came to my rescue and crashed on top of me. It took about 15 minutes to try and climb out of this very deep, soft snow.
This is near the end of a steep run filled with moguls, or mowglies as we like to call them. Legs had pretty much turned to rubber :)
