I was forced to choose a favorite!

You know a better way??  I had to stop by Krispy Kreme and see what all the fuss was about.  I walk in and see this oval assembly line setup with flanks of donuts in various stages of yumminess making their way around it.  The guy hands me one right off the press (so to speak).  It was incredible.  It was hot, the glaze still drizzling.  A bite into it was like biting into air (very sweeeeet air) - it was that tender!  They only last like that for about half an hour so of course I had to immediately eat the half dozen I just bought (plus the one the kind gentleman promo'd me)- they were a little much, but I think worth it.  At least my initial feeling was one of extreme satisfaction.  I wasn't so convinced for the next couple of hours but that wore off eventually and then I was once again quite happy about the whole experience.  So much so in fact, I thought I'd try out some other flavors - as per the photo below.  Although a determination of my favorite was quite urgent, rather than experience extreme discomfort for a day (there were twice as many this time), I decided to "sample" each one.  My favorite?? The one with the most missing :)
